Dialogues in Architecture
A permanent laboratory of reflection on the themes of architecture, urban planning, the relationship between space and society.
“Dialogues in Architecture” began in the spring of 2002. It is made up of an international network of professionals, university teachers, students, but also cultural agencies, public administrations, all those who work in various ways with cities and territories.
Loved by Chiara Lubich's solicitations and insights and in particular by the value of fraternity, as a paradigm for contemporaneity, in recent years she has promoted international seminars, workshops of cultural study and civil stimulus with particular attention to emerging issues.
Aims
Three words explain what Dialoghi in Architettura is: city, laboratory, dialogue.
CITY
Because the vision is to think and create spaces that allow people and society to fulfill themselves and create relationships. Be it houses, streets, squares and cities.
LABORATORY
Because the mission is to experiment with reflections, projects, experiences. And you try to do it in very different places from Italy to the Philippines, from Kenya to Colombia.
DIALOGUE
It is the encounter between different knowledge that gives rise to and creates spaces for everyone: from Architecture to Political Science, from Engineering to Art, from what you learn from the Academy to what you discover by getting your hands dirty.
